Antique Car Shows And Exhibitions
Are you an antique car enthusiast? Do you have love for powerful, roaring engines built many decades ago? Say no more. I completely understand you. I myself like to look at as many cars as I can. I like to visit an antique car show at least once every few months. It’s a real day out for me to be able to look at other people’s classic, vintage and antique automobiles. I wish I had the resources to own a large collection of my very own. Until the day I strike it rich, I will have to make due with shows and exhibitions!

Car shows are being organized all the time. Look in your local newspaper to find a few car related events near you. If you can’t find anything in your local neighborhood, then you’ll have to travel a few miles to the nearest big city near you. I’m sure you won’t have any problems with that. After all, you are a real car aficionado like me! I’ve even attended car shows that were held at school yards, for lack of another wide open space. I made sure to make plenty of photographs. Maybe one day I will post them on this blog.
There are many websites that give out information on car shows. Where they are held, when they are held, what kind of cars will be showing and if there will be any antique cars for sale by owner. Some of these guys who are showing their cars at shows, are actually looking for a customer to take the car off their hands. So if you’re looking to buy a classic or vintage car for yourself, don’t be afraid to visit a show. Not all the cars present are just for looking.
Another option you have is to browse a few car magazines. If you’re still reading this, then I’m betting you’ve already got a monthly subscription to some sort of magazine anyway. Check the advertisements therein and you will find yourself a few events, that’s for sure. The last option at your disposal for finding antique car shows, is to ask antique car owners themselves. The more antiques a person owns, the more likely he is ‘totally into the scene’. A person with a large collection will no doubt know all the dates and locations of upcoming car events by heart.
